AUCTION 99 - LOTS 1 TO 340

BIDDING HAS NOW ENDED. UNSOLD LOTS AND DUPLICATES AVAILABLE. SEE NOTES ON AUCTION 99 MAIN PAGE

The procedure for this auction is explained in the preliminary notes to the auction list. To view these, click on the Auction 99 tab, left hand side of this page). If you spot any errors or omissions, please advise these quickly, so that the table below may be updated.

Great choice of bookplates in a bumper sale, ending with fine items by Stephen Gooden.

Bidding is by email only. The way the auction works is that, starting at the reserve or minimum price, maximum bids are applied progressively, rising step by step to overbid each new competing bid by one bid increment. Bid increments are £1 up to £20; then £2 between £20 and £50; then £5 up to £100; then £10 up to £200; then £20 up to £500; thereafter £25.

For a tied bid, where two bidders have offered the same sum, the bid received earlier is the winner.
This table does not show where, in a small number of cases, a duplicate lot is available: the underbidder pays his maximum plus one bid increment (Rule 13).

Repeated bidding, emailing revised maximum bids, was possible until the auction ended.

AUCTION 99 - ENDED ON 25 NOVEMBER 2023 AT 13:00 GMT
